 Erica Charis, Arlington, MA

AWESOME Goal: 1200 miles on my bike, no exceptions for a trainer or exercise bike.

The meat and potatoes of this 1200 miles is my commute to work, which, by taking the scenic route, gets me 20 miles a day. But that's not enough in itself--the rest comes down to organized rides of 40+ miles at least twice a week with friends or the group attached to the local bike shop. Picture this: Me. A loaded bike. Busting my butt up the next hill in the final stretch of a 132 mile trip, in my bright orange Tread on Trafficking t-shirt. AWESOME.

Why am I treading on Trafficking? Because I learn something about myself every time I do it. Because its given me some of the easiest segways into a somewhat awkward, but really important conversation with those around me.

And because every time I chose to get back on my bike (in the rain, when my legs are killing me, etc.),

I can give the gift of choice to someone without any. And that's worth every drop of sweat.

 Karyn Puller, Edinboro, PA

AWESOME Goal: 26 miles on a pogo stick, that's 68,640 hops.

I'll be pogo sticking my heart out! My goal is to pogo stick a half mile every day.

I didn't know anything about human trafficking and child exploitation until December of 2009. When I started learning about these tragedies I was inspired to begin my own business (Delicate Fortress Creations) to help. One of the goals of the business is to help the non-profits who are doing the on the ground work with survivors and children at risk of being trafficked. Soon after I started the business I learned about Love146 and have been looking for a creative way to help. Tread on trafficking has been the perfect answer. I've been able to exercise and start to get in shape and share Love146 as well as their mission with the people who are helping me meet my goal.

[The girl who wore 146] is why I tread on trafficking. Because this must stop. It must stop.

So Love146, here I come on my pogo stick!

 Rob Rojas, San Clemente, CA

AWESOME Goal: 24 non-stop hours stand up paddle boarding in the Pacific Ocean.

Starting at 9am on June 27th until 9am on June 28th I'll be boarding in the Pacific Ocean in Dana Point Harbor. Doing this for 24 hours, isn't really something I'd just do for fun, but it's really compelling… I saw the video of Rob sharing the story of the girl who wore 146; to think that this is going on everywhere, everyday; it'll keep me going. I'm also in law enforcement out here in California, and any crimes against children hit home for me. Father's day falls in the month of June, doing this Paddle during June really resonates with me as a father.

I have a four year old little girl and to think about this happening to little girls…

As a dad this hits home big time. Human Trafficking can kiss my a$$.
