  Stephen Bauman

 

Stephen Bauman is the Senior Vice President of Programs for World Relief where he leads approximately 2,500 staff in 20 nations.  Stephan oversees programs in the health, economic, agriculture, and  refugee areas. Stephan joined World Relief in 2005 as the Country Director in Rwanda.  

Prior to joining World Relief Rwanda, Stephan served as Director of International Programs for World Hope International, where he oversaw relief and development programs in 25 countries worldwide in the agriculture, education, economic development, anti-trafficking, and health sectors.  From 1994 to 2001, Stephan worked for Mercy Ships International as Director of Programs and Training, where he directed medical, water and sanitation, community health, and capacity building programs for over 300 staff on the Anastasis, a hospital ship based in West Africa. Prior to joining Mercy Ships, Stephan worked in the private sector for Anderson & Co where he consulted on mergers and acquisitions, legal matters, treaties, and tax issues for Fortune 500 companies.  

Stephan is a Certified Public Accountant (since 1990), an ordained minister, and holds a Masters in International Public Policy (Johns Hopkins University), a Masters in MIssiology and Intercultural Studies (Wheaton College Graduate School), as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Business (University of Wisconsin).

  Karen Olcott

 

 

Karen Olcott is Director of Global Business Development at Microsoft, where she negotiates and leads content and ecommerce partnerships for Online Services across 45 markets worldwide. She joined Microsoft in 1997, to develop programming strategy for international, and scale out the online business into emerging markets.
 

 

Prior to joining Microsoft, Karen was Executive Director of Pinnacle Efx, a Seattle-based agency for advertising, broadcast/cable and web clients.  From 1985 – 1994, she was the Creative Director for Showtime Networks in New York, and drove the Network Design Strategy of graphics, music and identity elements to package numerous cable networks. As President of the Broadcast Designers Association, a non-profit organization of 2,500 associates, she led the merger with Promax in 1997. She has over 50 awards for design and identity projects worldwide. Karen worked for ABC Sports from 1980 – 1985, traveling the world for Wide World of Sports, Monday Night Football, PGA Golf Tour, and worked at all the Olympic Games from 1980 – 1988. She holds a B.A. from Brown University, and graduate degrees from the Freie University in Berlin, and Harvard School of Architecture.

 

Karen is Ongoing Advisor to regional grassroots coalition Seattle Against Slavery, enthusiastic about using music and coffee to expand philanthropy through Storyville Live Concert Tour, and supporter of International Justice Mission. Karen has a passion for new and emerging trends, and a heart for those who are victims of injustice. back to list


  Mark Markiewicz

 

Mark Markiewicz has eighteen years of experience in global missions and development leadership and worked with Love146 in the USA prior to moving to the UK in 2006. Mark was the Executive Director for the Business Professional Network (BPN) in the USA and was the National Director for Youth With A Mission in England (YWAM). Mark is currently the CEO of  Mayflower Management Services Ltd in the UK which is a company he founded to serve and enable Charities to raise funds and communicate effectively.

Mark is married to Karen with whom he has two sons and they live in Hampshire in the UK.

  Heather Crane 

 

Heather Crane received her degree in accounting from the University of Oregon. She worked as an auditor for Deloitte & Touche for two years. She currently travels with her husband, who plays professional golf on the PGA tour. She and her husband are involved in several ministry/outreach events and organizations such as Young Life and College Golf Fellowship. She has also served on the board of the Tour Wives’ Association, whose focus is to raise money to support various charities throughout the country. Heather chairs a golf tournament fundraiser each May at their home in the Dallas area that benefits Love 146. She is the mother of two young children.

  Rudy Chavez

 

Mr. Rudy Chavez was named President of Baume & Mercier North America, in September 2005.  As a seasoned professional in the watch industry, Mr. Chavez brings considerable experience and vision to Baume & Mercier.  In addition, his background in operations, sales, and merchandising has given him the opportunity to experience many aspects of the business providing him with a well rounded foundation from which to continue to grow this internationally renowned brand.

Mr. Chavez began his career with Sector Sport Watches, where he held several positions, ranging from merchandising to sales and ultimately was directly responsible for all key national and regional accounts.  Following this experience, Mr. Chavez was brought to Baume & Mercier as the New York Regional Manager.  From this position he moved on to Director of National Accounts and eventually, East Coast Sales Director.  Prior to assuming the role of President of Baume & Mercier North America, Mr. Chavez held the position of Vice President of Sales.

As President of the company, Mr. Chavez’s mission is to gain market share by building on Baume & Mercier’s solid foundation through selective distribution, a focused product offering as well as an increased concentration on Baume & Mercier’s level of service to the end consumer.  In addition, Mr. Chavez looks to continue to offer timeless designs at an exceptional price/quality ratio.
Rudy Chavez was born in Las Villas, Cuba and currently resides in Ridgefield, NJ. In addition to his leading role at Baume & Mercier, Mr. Chavez enjoys playing competitive sports and spending time with his wife and two children. back to list


  Lamont Hiebert

 

Lamont Hiebert is a recording artist and modern-day abolitionist. He co-founded Love146 in 2002 and was the Executive Director from 2002- 2006. He currently works as the US Prevention Strategist for Love146 and is on the charity’s Board of Directors. Prior to launching Love146, Lamont gained notoriety as a singer/songwriter for the band Ten Shekel Shirt. He has written a number of hits (Ocean, Spark, Fragile), received a Dove Award nomination, and performed with Grammy winners such as John Legend, Natasha Bedingfield and Switchfoot. Lamont has been using his artistic platform to fuel the abolitionist movement against child slavery and exploitation since 2000. Hiebert continues to present his potent blend of rock, faith and social justice at venues throughout North America. As a seasoned spokesperson, Lamont powerfully communicates the challenges and successes concerning child slavery and exploitation through lectures and songs.back to list


 

 

 

 


  Kristin Wiebe 

 

Kristin Wiebe is the Anti-Trafficking Program Director (Asia) for World Hope International and a Steering Committee Member for the Faith Alliance Against Slavery and Trafficking (FAAST).  After designing handcrafts for rural women's cooperatives in Bangladesh, Kristin pursued a law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law to gain skills to combat slavery and human trafficking.  Since then, she has developed anti-trafficking prevention, education, and aftercare projects in Africa, Asia, Europe and the United States. She has also lobbied at the United Nations Commission on Human Rights to address the demand for trafficking.  Kristin is a member of the California Bar Association and holds degrees in law, creative writing and studio art. back to list
