The Wrecking, are good friends on mine. I met them just about a year ago. We planned for them to come a few months before that, and it was then that I heard about Love 146 for the first time. I had no idea such an awful thing happened. Being a survivor of sexual abuse for eight years growing up, and then being raped a year and a half ago, my heart just sank for these girls. I know the pain that I went through, and still go through because of what happened to me, I can't imagine the pain that these girls are going through. To have your name stripped from you and to just be known as a number is like having your identity taken from you. You are no longer living in the place that you should be with your family, so you've lost all that and then to have your name taken from you and just be known as a number, how sickening! I never told anyone for about 18 years from the time when the abuse started, because the person who did it told me never to tell anyone about our "special time" It was just sitting deep in my core, and now is practically eating me alive. All of the horid emotions that go along with the abuse, and rape. I couldn't imagine it happening anymore than it did to me like these girls. It didn't happen mulitple times a day, maybe like everyother day or a few times a week, and I know the amount of pain that it caused me, I can only dream of the mulitpled amounts of pain for these girls. My heart goes out to these girls, as I can relate in a way to their pain and struggles, I pray for them often. I am so glad that this was brought to my attention, so I can do my part in making people awear of what is going on and how they can help!
