About 6 years ago I toured around, opening for a band called Ten Shekel Shirt. We played concerts to raise awareness about the selfless, and sometimes dangerous work being done to abolish the child sex slavery industry. I really had never been exposed to this abhorrant and deeply human issue before. 6 years later I'm still chilled by the LOVE 146 movement. You've grown, given voice, text, and face to the human lives at stake here and I feel that the world is more ready to receive you. Who knows, maybe it's simply that I have a deeper well to receive your message - and I like to imagine that if I am a heartspring moved to tears, then so are my sisters and brothers in the "world."
