Every February, many of us from all over the world participate in the @enditmovement’s annual campaign to “Shine a Light on Slavery.” Depending on what you used to draw a red X on your hand (symbolizing your commitment to the movement), it will either fade rapidly or over time. The space where youth engage in the normal adolescent behavior of exploring and testing their boundaries. As a preventative measure, we want to teach kids how to safely navigate the Internet, how to recognize when something may be getting out of control, and how to access help when needed.

  • A Story for Those About to Give Up on Abolition

Giving up is never the right answer. Reevaluating, yes, reimagining, of course — but never giving up. Yet that was nearly the end result of one Volunteer Team after a year of floundering. What a mistake that would have been. They rebounded with more impact than they had considered possible. Here’s how it all went down.

We recognize that people come into the movement to end child trafficking carrying their own opinions and agendas on a ton of different issues. That can create tension, but more often than not, we are inspired by the mix of people willing to join us at the table.

Business meets Social Justice!

We welcome businesses seeking to support Love146, a charity with international coverage, unique expertise in its field and links to local communities throughout Europe.Throughout our partnership, we work with you to understand your business needs, make clear how we think we could add value, and chart an agreed pathway ahead.

There are a number of ways through which we can create a partnership:

  • Support for specific activity, be it sharing your expertise or making a clear-cut financial donation.
  • Payroll giving, enabling donations to Love146 directly from salaries. This is a highly tax-efficient way of supporting us, costing individual donors less (because the donation is made before tax) and allowing us to receive more. Many companies run payroll giving schemes.
  • Challenge events, through which staff morale can be enhanced around a shared goal and positive outcome of supporting children exploited in the UK and Europe.
  • Cause-related marketing forming a partnership with each through providing resources and funding, whilst at the same time addressing important Love146 business objectives.

Please email info@love146.org.uk us for more information.
