For example, those who wish to receive email updates and newsletters are asked for email and physical addresses; those interested in our prevention curriculum are asked for information about the agency they work for; those who send e-cards are asked for information about the recipient of the e-card, and this information is used only to send the e-card. Those who engage in transactions with Love146 — by donating or purchasing materials — are asked to provide additional information including, as necessary, the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. 

Our donation form also allows for a comment to be made with your donation; these comments are publicly viewable with your name associated with the comment, and we may use them in our communications. We reserve the right to moderate these comments at our sole discretion. 

In all cases, Love146 collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Love146.

Love146 also collects personal information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. We collect IP addresses in order to improve your experience on our website (such as limiting the number of times you’d see a pop-up, or to know your general location to give you more relevant content). We also collect IP addresses to understand how visitors move through our site and how often they return.

You can enable or disable location services when you use our website at any time by way of your device settings. We do not currently support Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals under the California Online Protection Act (CalOPPA). (Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked.) Love146 does not disclose personally identifying information other than as described in this Privacy Policy. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Love146 will not rent or sell potentially personally identifying or personally identifying information to anyone.
