Born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut, Abigail attended a local arts high school and spent many years performing with choirs. After stints in Boston and New York for college, she completed a BA in Journalism with a minor in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University. Abigail has held a wide variety of jobs over the years, including restaurant server, nanny, administrator, and social media manager.
Abigail made the switch to nonprofit work in 2021 and never looked back. Previously working as a Communications & Development Coordinator for a children’s literacy organization, she honed her passion for giving back to the community. She is excited to continue fostering that passion at Love146.
Abigail currently lives in her beloved hometown, New Haven. She spends much of her free time running soccer supporters clubs for local and international teams. Her other hobbies include seeing live music, embroidery, writing, reading, baking, traveling, and tending to her houseplants. Abigail hopes to adopt a dog in the near future and is looking forward to the next opportunity she gets to see her favorite team, Arsenal, play in London.
