I’m inspired by individual people who are thoughtful, generous and kind. Rarely do you find entire groups of people who embody those things. But we have found exactly that in One Days Wages. And they take those qualities to a whole new level.
One Days Wages (ODW) represents an entire community of people who are audacious enough to believe they can change the world through their actions, which are thoughtful, generous and kind, not to mention incredibly practical.
This is why we are so excited about a new partnership with ODW centering on a campaign to fund our safe home for boys for an entire year. This home provides hope, life and a future for boys who have been trafficked or sexually exploited and have suffered from some of the worst human rights abuses imaginable. As much as I found myself trying desperately to hold back from sobbing or just crumbling to the ground at the realities of what these boys have gone through and how young they are, I was also stunned at the beauty of seeing the sparkle in their eyes and at the sound of their laughter.
