We were thrilled when we found the location of the White Home—being so close to the Round Home, the girls and boys are able to share activities and journey with each other through recovery. One of the most exciting features of the Love146 White Home facility is the huge pool in front of the house itself, especially given the relentlessly hot Filipino sun. As part of the holistic care we offer to the survivors in our care in the Philippines, we seek to create opportunities for them to have new experiences and develop new skills. Trying something new is not only fun, but can help enhance a child’s self-esteem through the learning process. So this past December, the Love146 White Home was the site of the very first Love146 swimming competition!
