On Perseverance

The experiences of children in our care are severe. A child accompanied by armed guards to testify against her trafficker. Children who require long-term medical care for the trauma, injuries and infections they’ve sustained.
A child coming into our care still in diapers. The potential threat of perpetrators who can come against staff or children in our care for retribution. Ultimately, children affected by trafficking and exploitation are the embodiment of perseverance. They journey towards recovery day after day, after day, and you and I are privileged to walk alongside them.
