Make a Year-End Gift to our Safe homes

Perhaps many musicians started out very early in life. Perhaps as babies or toddlers they just touched or looked at a guitar or drum and their parents rushed out to buy a toy guitar or drum. Perhaps their parents were their first audience and every little sound they made was met with lavish praise and encouragement. They grew up realizing and actualizing themselves in music, among other interests.
This was not the case with some of the children at Love146. For many, their main preoccupation was to look for food, often on the street, where the only meaningful sound were the coin alms dropping in their tin can. Any self-expression and self-actualization concerns were suppressed. They just looked on with longing and perhaps resignation, as other children were provided for, encouraged, and loved.
But the situation has now been changed.
At Love146, different forms of self-expression and self-development are encouraged, including music. Here, every little sound they make is met with lavish praise and encouragement.
The Love146 Round Home has served different roles: as refuge, protector, provider, facilitator.
It is also now the children’s first audience.
We invite you join with us and grow their audience. The attached video is of the children from our Round Home and White Home playing music and singing songs that celebrate the holidays. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
