A poem by Cecily, a survivor being served by Love146:
My life is like a wheel
Sometimes on top, sometimes at the bottom
Life is like a night
Because of so many trials to go through
But as the night passes there is still tomorrow
To come
And as that sun rises
I know that there is hope to come
And with every hope that comes
There my dreams are
The dream that I’ve desired for a long time
And finally, here I am
I am able to start anew
I am now able to go to school
Because of one person who never tires
To give me help
A person that God uses as an instrument
And with every hope that she gives me
I will work hard
To make my dreams come true
Your generosity brings opportunities for youth affected by trafficking and exploitation, like Cecily, to experience freedom and hope.
