Justine* is one of the many children served by our Survivor Care programs. Justine loves spending time watching documentaries, making art and music, and doing Zumba. She’s one of the most artistic young people in the safe home.
We’ve been journeying with Justine in our Survivor Care for 10 years… and she’s still a child. Today, the person who exploited her is in prison for life. Love146 never closes a case, and even as she becomes an adult, because of your support, she’ll always have safe people she can call.
Justine took this photo. About her photograph, she shared:
“When I’m sad, I look at the beautiful colors of the sky and work my imagination around the shapes formed by the clouds. This gives me peace. When I focus on the colors of the sky and the large clouds, the world seems more quiet. In my life, I received peace when I was freed from the abuses I experienced. What I want the world to know is don’t give up on finding peace, because we have the strength and determination in our lives to achieve it. Love146 stood by me when I was abandoned and I had problems, and they are the reason why I’ve come to have peace in my life.”
Thank you for standing by Justine on her journey. There are more children being trafficked who need peace. This holiday season, will you give so another child can also find freedom and get the support they need? Make a donation right now at www.love146.org/give.
