Today is Women’s Equality Day. At Love146, whether it’s donors, volunteers, staff — or victims of trafficking — women and girls are disproportionately showing up, representing 84% of survivors in our care and over 70% of donors and volunteers.
As we watch the news this week around the world, it’s clear that women’s equality has a long way to go. It’s work that needs everyone showing up to see safety & equality for women and gender minorities. To every single one of you who support the ongoing fight for gender equality: thank you.
Happy Women’s Equality Day from all of us at Love146. Thank you for continuing to think and act alongside us to make a better world for the next generation.
